چکیده
We present a method for calculating the full counting statistics of nonequilibrium quantum system based on propagator noncrossing approximation (NCA). This numerically inexpensive can provide higher order cumulants extended parameter regimes, rendering it attractive wide variety purposes. compare NCA results to Born-Markov master equations (QME) show that they access different physics, and exact inchworm Monte-Carlo data assess their validity. As demonstration its power, is employed study impact correlations in Anderson impurity model. The four lowest are examined, allowing us establish correlation effects have profound influence underlying transport distributions. Higher therefore demonstrated be proxy presence Kondo way cannot captured by simple QME methods.

Robust Higher Order Statistics
Sample estimates of moments and cumulants are known to be unstable in the presence of outliers. This problem is especially severe for higher order statistics, like kurtosis, which are used in algorithms for independent components analysis and projection pursuit. In this paper we propose robust generalizations of moments and cumulants that are more insensitive to outliers but at the same time re...
متن کاملAnderson model out of equilibrium: Noncrossing-approximation approach to transport through a quantum dot.
The infinite-U Anderson model is applied to transport through a quantum dot. The current and density of states are obtained via the non-crossing approximation for two spin-degenerate levels weakly coupled to two leads. At low temperatures, the Kondo peak in the equilibrium density of states strongly enhances the linear-response conductance. Application of a finite voltage bias reduces the condu...
متن کاملCompressive Higher Order Cyclostationary Statistics
The application of nonlinear transformations to a linearly modulated communication signal for the purpose of revealing hidden periodicities has proven to be useful for automatic modulation recognition (AMR). The fact that the hidden periodicities, referred to as Higher Order Cyclostationary Statistics (HOCS), are compressible in the Fourier domain motivates the use of compressive sensing (CS) a...
متن کاملHigher Order Correlations in Quantum Chaotic Spectra
The statistical properties of the quantum chaotic spectra have been studied, so far, only up to the second order correlation effects. The numerical as well as the analytical evidence that random matrix theory can successfully model the spectral fluctuatations of these systems is available only up to this order. For a complete understanding of spectral properties it is highly desirable to study ...
متن کاملHigher Order Correlations in Computed Particle Distributions
The rms emittances calculated for beam distributions using computer simulations are frequently dominated by higher order aberrations. Thus there are substantial open areas in the phase space plots. It has long been observed that the rms emittance is not an invariant to beam manipulations. The usual emittance calculation removes the correlation between transverse displacement and transverse mome...
